Holly’s 11th Search Treasure Auction concluded in a delightful vibe on March 30, when both the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Auction and the Porcelain·Jade·Artware Auction attracted a large number of bidders and achieved a strong performance with over ￥20 million. Chinese Painting & Calligraphy
The Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Auction realized a total of ￥11.89 million, led by Zhou Yansheng’s Flowers and Birds (花鸟) (￥1.9 million). The cover item —— Feng Chaoran’s Guanyin (观音) was sold with ￥322,000, while Shangtao’s Two Cranes （双鹤）stirred up a fierce competition among several bidders and finally hits ￥253,000. Lin Yong’s Plum Blossom and Girl (梅花少女) also achieved a sold price of ￥253,000. Meanwhile, both the back cover item —— Ju Lian’s Peony and Bees (牡丹蜜蜂）and Zhang Daqian’s Lady (仕女) was sold with ￥230,000.

The Porcelain·Jade·Artware Auction has brought approximately 500 items, which totaled ￥8.31 million, led by the cover item “A Pair of Underglaze Blue and White Dragon and Phoenix Porcelain Bottles, Qing Dynasty, Guangxu Emperor (清光绪·青花龙凤呈祥图螭龙耳抱月瓶一对) ” with ￥494,500. The Bronze Incense Burner, Ming Dynasty (明·铜蚰耳炉) was sold with ￥460,000 while the Butterflies Famille-Rose Jug, Qing Dynasty, Guangxu Emperor (清光绪 粉彩百蝶图罐) achieved ￥437,000. It is also worth noticing that the Landscape Bamboo Table Plaque, ROC (民国·竹雕山水插屏) which started with “zero floor price” in the auction was eventually concluded with ￥253,000.
