The Itinerant Exhibition of Selected Works from Holly’s 2018 Spring Auctions is about to launch! Our first stop kicks off on 28-29 April in Shanghai at the Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel, where 400 selected items will be shown to the public. On 14-16 May, the exhibition will move to Beijing to meet our clients and audience.

We are also happy to announce that Tong Yanfang and Feng Lei - experts in fine copy of inscription rubbing-is going to give a lecture cooperatively on Shi Gu Wen (with Wu Changshuo and Wang Guowei’s short comment) and Liu Xiong Bei during the exhibition in Shanghai. If you are interested in Chinese calligraphy and inscription rubbing, please feel free to come and join! The lecture starts at 15:00 on 28 April, no booking or entrance fee is required.

Highlights of this itinerate exhibition include Zhang Daqian’s record-breaking work Xi Qiao Wan Se (溪桥晚色), treasure from the Qing Palace “Painting of Rohdea Japonica by Chen Gua” (清乾隆缂丝御制题陈栝画万年青诗并图卷), Zhu Zhishan’s Calligraphy (祝允明草书诗词卷), and so on. Other than around 100 pieces of beautiful Chinese paintings and calligraphy, a number of ceramics, jade, Buddha statues, antique artwares, oil-paintings, sculptures, jewelry, watches, wine and spirits, tea and invigorant. This is a good opportunity to take an early preview on Holly’s International 2018 Spring Auction.
