Holly’s 2016 Autumn Auction Achieves 560 Million Yuan

Holly’s 2016 Autumn Sales concluded for 560 million yuan. The Chinese Painting and Calligraphy session totalled 370 million yuan, making the highest price among five 2016 Autumn Auction sessions. Seven pieces of lots are sold over 10 million yuan separately, six of which are from Chinese painting and calligraphy auctions. The “Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy”auction achieved a sale total of 82.524 million yuan. Highlights Qian Weicheng’s 花卉图 and Yun Xi黄山三十六峰图 are both closed for approximately 20 million yuan. Another auction “Important Works of Zhang Daqian and other Major Painters”make a total sale of 130 million, to be specific, both Qi Baishi’s 红线盗盒 and 人物四帧 makes more than 10 million yuan.

 

 

As for the Contemporary Art session, all auctions totalled approximately 40 million yuan. The“Painting of Li Zhongjin and Wang Zhaomin” auction achieves 100% sold, in other auctions, Wu Guanzhong, Wang Qidong, Ding Yi, Liang Quan are still popular artists among art collectors.

 

 

“Jingguan-Art of Ancient Buddha Statues”auction achieves a total sale of 73 million yuan. Highlight statue 7/8世纪铜释迦牟尼像 was sold for 32 million yuan after rounds of bidding, making the highest price of the auction. Collections from famous collectors in the “Yuxiang-Precious Antique”auction remains to be popular among collectors, the sale total hits 38 million yuan.

 

  

The turnover of the Jewelry and Watches session is almost 20 million yuan, led by a piece of 天然浓彩黄色钻石彩粉色钻石项链 with 2.41 million yuan.

 

 

The Gram Reserve session performs stably this year, with the overall sale hits 24 million yuan. Macallan, Glenlivet, La Romanee-Conti, Château Lafite-Rothschild 2000 amd Guizhou Moutai have all achieved good results. New session-Aged Pu’er and Tea Props-was a big hear among collectors as well. Pu’er “五十年代 蓝印铁饼”,“民国初期 蓝标宋聘” and “民国初期 双狮同庆” all sold for good price, as well as tea props.
