1994
China Guardian Guangzhou International Auction Co. Ltd (the predecessor of Guangzhou Holly International Auction Co. Ltd.) was founded.
Held its first Chinese paintings calligraphies auction and created a national record, as its single auction sales turnover hit ¥15 million and the sell-through rate reached 88.6%.

1995 Spring
Organized its first ‘Chinese ancient paintings and calligraphies’ special auction.
Launched the first ‘paintings and calligraphies of Ling Nan Masters’ auction.

1996
Successfully held the ‘1949-1979 New China’s Artworks’ auction, which has directly promoted the market status of New China artworks and has provided the 30 years art history of New China with precious primary sources. This is an important moment of China’s auction history.

2000
Was awarded as the ‘Contract-Stressing and Promise-Keeping Enterprises’ by Guangzhou Administration Bureau for Industry and Commerce, became the first Guangzhou auction enterprise which achieved this prize.
This honor lasts till now.

2001 Spring
Launched the first New Century artworks auction in China, which was evaluated as an ‘iconic’ event by professionals.
‘Chinese Contemporary Artworks of Masters’ auction introduced the first ‘Guarantee of Authenticity’ auction, became an pioneer in developing China’s contemporary art market.

2002
Was awarded as ‘Chinese AAA Class Auction Enterprise’ - the highest quality rating by China Association of Auctioneers.

2003
Successfully organized the first ‘100kg Limited Daoguang 25 Imperial Rice Wine’ special auction.
Launched the first prints auction in China with the ‘1940-2003 Chinese Prints Collection’ auction.

2007 Winter
Organized the ‘Eight Masters of Ling Nan’ special auction for the first time, whose sell-through rate was 90%.

2009 Winter
Jin Shangyi’s Full Length Portrait of Mao - the most important magnum opus of Jin throughout 60 years of his art career, a remarkable work in China’s oil painting history - was concluded with ¥20.16 million.
In the 15-Year-Anniversary, Yuan Dynasty artist Fang Congyi’s Landscape painting named Yun Shu Liu Quan Tu was auctioned off with ¥18.36 million, being the first Chinese ancient painting whose price was over ¥10 million among South China auction houses.
The 2009 Winter Auction has set the highest record in South China auction history.
Held the first ‘Jadeite and Magnificent Jewels’ special auction.

2010 Winter
Rewrote the highest auction record, ¥320 billion, since founded 16 years ago; five pieces of Chinese paintings and calligraphies were sold over ¥10 million.

2011 Summer
The ¥380 million sales turnover of artworks auctions has renewed the record of Guangzhou artworks single season auctions.
Held the first Moutai auction in Guangzhou.

2011 Winter
The new name - ‘Guangzhou Holly International Auction Co., Ltd.’ - was officially announced.
The overall sales of 2011 Autumn Auction is over ¥600 million, which remains the highest record of single season artworks auctions in South China (RMB 601,262,600).
Holly sat the 4th in the 2011 Top 10 Tax Ranking of Chinese Artworks Auction Enterprises.

2012 Spring
‘Rare Collection•Grand Reserve’ auction achieved the highest sell-through rate (over 80%) with around ¥10.06 million sales turnover .
Organized the first feature auction of Guangzhou export artworks - ‘Special Artwares of Guangzhou Thirteen-hong’.

2013 Spring
Organized Guangzhou’s first ‘Important Clocks and Watches’ auction.

2013 Winter
‘The collection of Buquelou in a century’ special auction achieved the ‘white glove’ with 100% sell rate.

2014 Spring
Jin Shangyi’s Peony Pavilion was concluded with ¥48.3 million.
Launched the first ‘Jingguan-Art of Ancient Buddha Statues’ auction.

2015 Spring
five main categories - Chinese paintings and calligraphies, contemporary art, precious antiques, Jewels and Watches, Rare Collection - presented a stable performance, the overall sales reached ¥486 million.

2015 Autumn
The new company logo of Holly was officially announced.
The sales turnover of ‘Boundless Universe - Precious Works of Zhang Daqian’ auction was almost 100 million, with the rate of sale hit 91%. It was the largest Zhang Daqian auction with the most comprehensive works in recent years.

2016
The overall sales of auctions in 2016 was about ¥110 million.
Opened the ‘Cantonese Mansion - Antique Furniture and Artware Chapter’ special auction in 2016 Spring Auction ; Wu Guanzhong Master of the Nets Garden was auctioned off with ¥51.175 million; held the first ‘Hermès Bags’ feature auction in South China.
The sales turnover of the 2016 Autumn Auction was over ¥560million, which has witnessed a significant warm-up of the China’s art market.

2017 Spring
The overall sales of 2017 Spring Auction was over ¥550million.
42 pieces of Guan Liang’s works in ‘The Romance of Chinese Opera - Collection of Guan Liang From Huang Qingxin’ auction was all sold.
