On 25^th November, Holly’s 2017 Autumn Auction was ended with a combined total of 630 million yuan, which has renewed the record of Holly’s auctions. During the Autumn Sales, Holly’s has hold twelve auctions whose categories include Chinese painting and calligraphy, contemporary art, Chinese porcelain, jade, ancient art-wares, jewellery, watches, fine wine and sprite, tea props, etc.. To be specific, the total sale of three Chinese painting and calligraphy auctions reached 370 million while one of the contemporary art auction “The Golden Age-- The Three Musketeer Zao Wou-ki, Wu Guanzhong, Chu Teh-Chun” achieving 100% sale through rate.

 

In this autumn auction, Holly’s Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Department has launched three auctions, in which Fu Baoshi’s Shitao’s Poetry was concluded with the highest price-41,400,000 yuan. Other lots like Li Shutong’s 四分律删繁补阙行事钞 was sold with 32,200,000 yuan, Zhang Daqian’s 芭蕉仕女 with 11,500,000 yuan, and King Qianlong’s Calligraphy名阀令器 with 9,430,000, which might be the sign of a more enthusiastic art market in China.

Other four auctions including Rare Collection-Grand Reserve and Invigorant, Magnificent Jadeite and Jewels, Important Watches, Fine Aged Tea | Fine and Attractive Japanese Tea Props totaled 60 million yuan. To be more specific, Rare Collection-Grand Reserve and Invigorant auction, the first launched auction of this season, has introduced-wine, whisky, cognac, Chinese Mou Tai, and invigorant with high quality and achieved a sale through rate of 80%. Thereinto, the Romanee Conti Assortment 1996 was sold with 322,000 yuan while the price of 1993 Guizhou Mou Tai (red lid/iron lid/original box) reaches 310,500 yuan.

Fine Aged Tea | Fine and Attractive Japanese Tea Props is a new auction that was launched this season. With more than 70 items being showed and bid, this special auction achieve a total of 18 million yuan, among which the highlight号级古董普洱茶组合 was sold with 5,750,000 yuan while another “cover lot” was auctioned off with 782,000 yuan.
